A reputable law firm in Fort Worth is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Attorney to join its growing team. This position is ideal for an attorney who thrives in a client-centered environment and has a strong track record handling plaintiff-side personal injury matters.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a docket of personal injury cases from initial intake through settlement or trial, including discovery, motion practice, mediations, and court appearances.
Conduct detailed legal and factual investigations to build strong liability and damages arguments.
Draft and respond to pleadings, demand packages, discovery requests, motions, and other litigation documents.
Communicate with clients regularly to provide case updates, explain legal options, and set expectations.
Interface with insurance carriers, defense counsel, medical providers, and expert witnesses as needed.
Negotiate settlements effectively while ensuring the client's best interests are protected.
Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to maintain efficient workflow and deliver exceptional client service.
Stay informed on developments in Texas personal injury and tort law that may impact ongoing or future cases.
Qualifications
J.D. from an accredited law school and active license to practice in Texas.
Prior experience handling plaintiff PI cases (ideally 2+ years).
Strong litigation and negotiation skills, with the ability to advocate confidently in and out of the courtroom.
Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask, stay organized, and manage a high-volume caseload.
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive salary range of $100,000–$140,000 depending on experience.
