Personal Injury Attorney **
Tysons Corner, VA
MUST:
Experienced Personal Injury Attorney
Licensed to practice law in Virginia (required).
2 3 years of experience in personal injury law, including experience handling General District Court cases.
Licensure in Maryland and/or Washington, D.C. (preferred but not required).
Strong litigation and negotiation skills.
Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical abilities.
Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines independently.
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong commitment to client service and ethical legal practice.
DUTIES:
Manage a caseload of personal injury matters from intake through settlement or trial, with an emphasis on General District Court litigation.
Conduct client interviews, gather evidence, and draft demand packages.
Represent clients in pre-litigation negotiations, mediations, and courtroom proceedings in Virginia General District Courts.
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other legal documents.
Attend hearings, depositions, and pretrial conferences as needed.
Provide strategic legal advice and guidance to clients throughout the legal process.
Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to ensure timely and efficient handling of cases.
Keep abreast of current personal injury laws and legal trends in Virginia, and where applicable, Maryland and D.C.
