Responsibilities: • Draft correspondence, legal pleadings, motions, and briefs • Represent clients in court to argue motions during legal proceedings • Work closely with and provide leadership to administrative staff concerning client billing, client meetings and invoicing, as well as finalizing client projects • Conduct research and draft pleadings, briefs, and motions • Oversee paralegals, law clerks, and administrative staff Qualifications: • Must be a member of your local bar association - active member preferred • Ability to use Microsoft Office is required • Communication, problem-solving, decision-making, interpersonal, and public speaking skills required • Work independently while handling a heavy caseload • Strong knowledge of legal research programs such as Westlaw and Lexis products is required • Graduation from law school with Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree and experience in representing clients for at least 2 years • Must have an IL License and wiling to obtain additional licenses in OH and IN. Compensation: $100,000 yearly
