Mission Recruiting is proud to represent a firm in its search for Associate Attorneys to join its Toxic Tort, Asbestos, and Silica practice across California. Opportunities are available in Los Angeles, Irvine, San Francisco, and Walnut Creek.

The Role:

You will play an active role in defending asbestos and silica matters while working alongside trial-tested litigators who invest in mentorship and hands-on development.

Your work will include:

• Managing a defense litigation caseload, including toxic tort matters
• Taking and defending fact and expert depositions
• Drafting and arguing dispositive and procedural motions
• Handling written discovery and e-filings
• Participating in trial preparation and strategic planning sessions
• Communicating directly with clients and contributing to litigation strategy

The firm welcomes attorneys with strong civil defense backgrounds who are interested in building depth in toxic tort litigation. Prior toxic tort experience is valued but not required.

Compensation

Base salary ranges from $150,000 to $185,000, depending on overall experience and background.

Qualifications:

• Active and in good standing with the California Bar
• JD from an ABA-accredited law school
• Experience in civil defense litigation
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple matters and meet a 1900-hour annual expectation
