    Our Client 
    Our client, a fast-growing Florida litigation firm, is seeking a Plaintiff-Side Workers’ Compensation Attorney to join their growing team in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Designed for a recently barred or early in their career attorney, the position offers a salary of $65-95k, based on experience. This is a fully onsite role, so candidates must be commutable to the Fort Lauderdale area. It is a full-time, direct hire opportunity, perfect for an attorney eager to take the next step in their career within a collaborative, growth-minded firm.


    Who We’re Looking For 
    Are you a recent law school graduate or early-career attorney looking to launch your litigation career in workers’ compensation? In this role, you’ll advocate for injured workers by taking depositions, managing case files, and representing clients at hearings and mediations. We're looking for a bilingual (Spanish/English) attorney who is organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about fighting for plaintiffs in workers’ compensation matters.

     

    What To Expect as a Plaintiff’s Workers’ Compensation Attorney

    • Manage a caseload of workers’ compensation claims from intake through resolution
    • Conduct and defend depositions of clients, physicians, and expert witnesses
    • Draft pleadings, discovery responses, motions, and settlement agreements
    • Represent injured workers in mediations, hearings, and other proceedings
    • Work collaboratively with internal staff to support client outcomes
    • Communicate clearly and frequently with clients regarding case status and legal strategy


    Qualifications For Success

    • J.D from ABA-approved law school
    • An active license to practice law in the state of Florida is required
    • 0–2 years of legal experience (internship or clinic experience in workers’ comp or PI preferred)
    • Must be fluent in Spanish (written and verbal)
    • Prior experience taking or defending depositions
    • Strong writing, negotiation, and oral advocacy skills
    • Ability to manage a fast-paced caseload and meet deadlines

     

    Salary Range: $65,000 - $90,000
