Attorney for Litigation Practice (4+ Yrs Experience)
Job Description
We are hiring an Attorney (4+ Years of Experience) for our Litigation Practice to become a member of our trial team! As a part of our team, you will directly represent clients in Federal and State Court. First Chair or Second Chair trial experience preferred.
Responsibilities:
· Represent clients in State and Federal Courts in a wide array of cases including a focus on energy/oil and gas
· Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients
· Advise clients on business and legal transactions
· Negotiate settlements for legal disputes
· Trial and arbitration preparation and attendance
· Comply with all legal standards and regulations
· Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law
Qualifications:
· Previous experience in Commercial Litigation
· Familiarity with various legal documents
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Licensed to practice in the State of Texas
· Trial experience in Texas preferred
