PROGRAM COORDINATOR AND CUSTOMER SERVICE SPECIALIST

Au Pair Weekend is seeking an energetic, detail-oriented, and organized individual to work full-time for our socially driven organization that provides college courses for au pairs online and in-person in 10 cities across America. JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive self starter with strong project management skills including the ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively
• Passion and enthusiasm that brings energy to the program
• Bachelor’s degree
• At least one year work experience in customer service or event planning
• Excellent customer service and communication skills in both face-to-face and online settings 
• Available to work primarily a Monday - Friday business hours schedule with occasional weekends required (Approximately 8-12 weekends a year)
• Occasional Travel Required (Approximately 4-6 times a year)
• Experience with Google Suite, Adobe, and Canvas LMS systems preferred
• Experience working remotely and independently preferred
• Experience working with event planning/implementation or logistics preferred
• Experience working within an educational setting preferred
• Experience working with international students preferred 
• Experience working with cultural diversity or experience living abroad preferred

JOB DESCRIPTION/ESTIMATED SCHEDULE:

This is a full time position consisting of approximately 40 hours of work a week.  As the Program Coordinator and Customer Service Specialist, you will be responsible for creating a positive, consistent, and engaging experience for students enrolled in the Au Pair Weekend college program. After your training is completed, you will be the designated Program Coordinator for up to 3 of our locations (likely Utah and two other locations TBD). This is primarily a remote (work from home) position, and most of the Program Coordinator work for the cities you are assigned to will be done remotely, though occasional travel to the cities you assist with may be required.  There may also be occasional in-person meetings or training with organization leadership.  Additionally, you would be expected to assist our in person Utah-based weekend classes approximately four times a year.

ADDITIONAL TASKS INCLUDE:

• Handling communications in our general email inbox, ensuring accurate and timely responses.
• Managing other forms of customer/partner communication including returning calls, chats, and/or texts promptly (within approximately 24 business hours).
• Communicating with students and answering student questions about course registration and course assignments to ensure they are adhering to program timelines and completing requirements.
• Coordinating all student registration issues, including, but not limited to, housing, cancellations and refunds.
• Reviewing and grading all student coursework and facilitating the completion letter process for students upon completion of their programs. This may also include helping other Program Coordinators grade assignments from other cities or courses.
• Attending all Program Coordinator team meetings as needed in order to stay up to date with all Au Pair Weekend policies and procedures.
• Assisting the Customer Service/Marketing team as needed.
• Please note, you will be expected to work approximately 8-12 weekends a year.  When live classes return, some travel will be required.  You will work closely with the City Director of each city to assist with weekend planning and organization prior to the weekend as needed. During the weekends, you will work closely with the City Director and other designated staff, as well as working with au pair students directly.  Weekday work schedules can be adjusted when you assist with weekend classes.  
• As we are a fast growing and evolving organization, some flexibility and adaptability in regards to job assignments and future roles is appreciated.

COMPENSATION:

• Compensation will be $15-$19/hour DOE for all work completed.
• Au Pair Weekend benefits include a matching retirement plan after 1 year, sick leave pay, five paid holidays per year, and up to eight PTO days per year. 
• Travel expenses related to work are covered by APW, and travel budgets are agreed upon prior to travel on a case-by-case basis.
• In addition to receiving general training from your Program Coordinator Supervisor, you will also complete a 5-10 hour online training in Canvas. The purpose of this training is to familiarize yourself with our organization, policies and procedures, as well as the course content.  
• Staff reviews will be conducted on an annual (or more frequently as needed) basis, at which point the current compensation plan and job description can be reviewed and modified as needed.
