ASSISTANT DIETARY MANAGER- AUBURN MEADOWS IN WACONIA

Current availability includes FULL-TIME DAYTIME HOURS FROM 6AM-2:30PM, INCLUDING EVERY OTHER WEEKEND. This position would be 80 HOURS BI-WEEKLY AND BENEFIT ELIGIBLE.

We are looking for someone to prepare food in accordance with established policies and procedures, to assure that quality food service is provided at all times.  Will also support and assist the Dietary Director with the overall operation of the Dietary Department. 

1. This position is responsible for monitoring departmental compliance with local, state, and federal regulations in preparing attractive, nutritious and palatable meals for residents /customers following established menus, policies and practices, as well as best practices. 
2. This position monitors procurement, storage, preparation, and distribution and service of food under sanitary conditions.
3. This position oversees, and assures, appropriate nutritional care for residents according to physician orders, state/federal regulations and resident care plans.
4. This position requires daily engagement with employees and assisting them to be successful in their positions.  The successful candidate will be responsible for creating work schedules for cooks and dietary assistants. The Assistant Dietary Manager provides recognition to employees who perform their job correctly and consistently, and provides coaching and redirection to those who need to improve performance. 
5. The successful candidate is required to follow Auburn Home’s infection control policies and procedures, OSHA, and CDC Guidelines that apply to blood borne pathogens, serving food, assisting residents, and cleaning.
6. This position ensures residents’ common dining areas are pleasant and orderly.
7. This position is in charge of the Dietary Department in the absence of the Dietary Manager.
