    Job Description

    This position serves as administrative and clerical support to the Directors of Elementary and Secondary Education and the professional learning program. Primary responsibilities will focus on curriculum resource acquisition and supply chain coordination, professional learning event planning and support, and coordinating travel arrangements for district employees. Additional responsibilities may include managing budgets and grants, preparing reports and correspondence, processing purchase orders, maintaining files and records, distributing curriculum materials, assistance in professional development opportunities in the district, and serving as a liaison between the Directors of Education, department, and other district staff.

    SALARY: $15.00-$20.00/hour (wage determined by years of relevant experience)

    TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: 8 hours/day, 12 months/year (benefits-eligible)

    REPORTS TO: Director of Elementary Education, Director of Secondary Education

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    ● High school diploma or equivalent
    ● Office management and/or administrative assistance experience preferred
    ● Demonstrates word processing skills, spreadsheet, and database knowledge.
    ● Demonstrates basic computer navigation/file management skills.
    ● Demonstrates competence for assigned responsibility and maintains confidentiality of student and staff records and files.
    ● Ability to get along well with others.
    ● Ability to follow oral and written directions.
    ● Exercises good judgment, tact, and courtesy.
    ● Strengths in organizational skills and attention to detail.
    ● Demonstrates the ability to maintain complex clerical records and prepare statistical reports.
