Job Title - Audio/Video Administrator

Duration - Long Term

Work Mode- Hybrid/ WFO (3 days onsite per week)

Work Location- Irving, Tx

Position Summary:

We are looking for a candidate who's experienced working as a Audio/Video Administrator who will be responsible for AV equipment set up, operation, maintenance, and repair.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (May perform any or all of the following):

1. Experience with the maintenance, troubleshooting and problem-solving of AV hardware and software.
2. Experience repairing and replacing faulty AV equipment.
3. Experience installing new AV equipment.
4. Experience maintaining documentation of AV systems, records, logs and procedures.
5. Experience facilitating live audio and video events.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENT

1. Ensure that the AV equipment in the various venues and public viewing areas is operational for regular meetings and special events.

2. Facilitate the repair or replacement of any non-functioning AV equipment and install or assist in installation of new AV equipment.

3. Maintain documentation of AV systems, records, logs and procedures.

4. Facilitate video conferences and train meeting support personnel to operate the equipment in the meeting rooms.

5. Ensuring that AV hardware and software is prepared to meet the needs of the organization.

6. Maintain inventory of equipment.

7. Offering plans and advice for live audio and video events, including broadcasts, conferences, and so on.

8. Operating the master controls of AV systems during events.

9. Maintenance, troubleshooting and problem-solving of hardware and software.

10. Storing, transporting, assembling and disassembling AV equipment.

11. Ensuring the production and updating of AV documentation such as user guides.

12. Cabling and wiring to implement technologies into AV setups.

13. Perform regular preventive maintenance checks in conference rooms.

14. Provide onsite event and meeting support including planning, setup and testing for various meetings, events and projects throughout the site

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

1. Bachelor's degree in business, computer science or engineering or a related field.
2. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships inside and outside the organization
3. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both written and orally, and to maintain harmonious internal and external working relationships.
4. Ability to be on call via cell phone or other department-defined method.
5. Ability to pass a medical physical.
6. Ability to pass a security check.
7. Possess a valid Texas driver's license.
8. Ability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

EFFORT

• Works in an office and/or airport terminal environment.
• Uses keyboard devices and computer monitors.
• Uses reasoning abilities in performing analysis and solving problems.
• Frequently exerts forces equivalent to lifting minimally 50+ pounds Must be able to use ladders and scissor lifts as required from time to time.
• Communicates effectively by telephone, in writing and in person.
• Uses near-visual acuity in reading written documents.
• Drives to locations on Airport property.
