We are hiring for two positions, Lead A/V Installer and A/V Installer.
Lead A/V Installer
This position is for a self-motivated employee that has a proven track record in the technology/automation market with at least one year of experience.
A/V Installer
This position is for an employee with no experience but has a desire learn and growth in the automation, security, and audio-video installation industry.
Audio/Video
· Pre-wire new construction/retro-fit homes and commercial buildings
· Configure and Install custom indoor/outdoor audio and video distribution systems (speakers, televisions etc.)
· Trim and program hardwired/wireless surveillance systems (camera security systems) & computer networks
Control Systems
· Connect & Configure devices
· Understand operation and programming of control systems (will train)
· Configure devices and update firmware
· Shade and lighting prewire and installation (helpful)
Networking
· Work in home and remotely with staff network engineer to set-up network
· Troubleshoot network connectivity issues for IP devices
· Understanding of modems, routers, switches
· Comfortable using IP tools on a smart phone
· Cat5/6 cable testing and verification
Required Education
· High school or equivalent
Required Experience
· Lead Audio Video Installer: 1 year of experience
· Audio Video Installer: <1 year of experience (willing to train)
Required Licenses or Certifications
· Driver's License
