In this role, you’ll be the behind-the-scenes hero who ensures our livestream and in-house experiences run flawlessly, capturing the energy of the room and delivering it to audiences around the world.

    You'll manage the full spectrum of audiovisual techβ€”from setting up camera rigs and configuring livestream platforms to switching video feeds in real time and fine-tuning audio to perfection. Whether it’s auction day, pre-production setup, or supporting the team during the week, you’ll play a key role in bringing our events to life.

    🎬 On Auction Days

    Drive the live show β€” Switch between 12 video inputs and mix 10 audio channels in real-time for a dynamic, engaging livestream experience.

    Command the stream β€” Manage livestream platforms like YouTube Live, Vogt Live, LiveAuctioneers, and Invaluable.

    Lead with confidence β€” Oversee the AV team during auctions to ensure smooth production and a professional online presence.

    Keep things running β€” Monitor stream health, manage overlays and transitions, and troubleshoot issues instantly to keep everything seamless.

    Prep the scene β€” Set up and test all AV equipment including cameras, computers, monitors, and switchers.

    Customize your control β€” Program video switchers with macros, scenes, and transitions to streamline production.

    Ensure bidder readiness β€” Set up computers for online bidding and ensure flawless internet connectivity.

    Polish the space β€” Keep the phone bank and stage area clean, professional, and camera-ready.

    Be the tech expert β€” Maintain AV equipment, perform system updates, and troubleshoot issues with gear or software.

    Create visual content β€” Design engaging slideshow content for gallery TVs using marketing materials.

    Support the team β€” Provide tech help to staff, liaise with IT when needed, and assist in video/photo shoots for promotional content.

    Show up for special events β€” Set up and run AV for off-hours meetings and community events like city forums.

    Engage with visitors β€” Help guests understand the online auction process and provide friendly tech assistance.

    Hands-on AV experience β€” Comfortable setting up and running livestreams, cameras, video switchers, and multi-channel audio mixers.

    Creative control β€” Skilled in using OBS, Restream, YouTube Live, and custom platforms to create a high-quality livestream.

    Technical agility β€” Experienced with Roland and Blackmagic switchers, scene programming, and macro creation.

    Troubleshooting talent β€” Able to quickly diagnose and fix hardware/software issues under pressure.

    Production polish β€” Capable of editing slideshows and videos for internal and external use.

    Hardware know-how β€” Confident installing AV gear including switchers, cabling, lighting, and monitors.

    Network knowledge β€” Understanding of how bandwidth, bitrate, and latency affect livestream quality.
