The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the shipping and receiving process of audio visual (AV) equipment and materials. This role is crucial to ensuring the smooth operation and timely delivery of AV equipment for various projects and events.
** Key Responsibilities :**
Inspect incoming shipments to ensure all items are accounted for and in good condition.
Prepare and package AV equipment for shipment, ensuring proper documentation accompanies all shipments.
Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels to ensure adequate supply of materials.
Work closely with the procurement and project management teams to track orders and maintain updated delivery schedules.
Ensure compliance with all safety and handling guidelines for AV equipment and materials.
Collaborate with logistics partners and vendors to optimize shipping procedures and costs.
Continuously review and improve shipping and receiving processes for efficiency.
** Qualifications :**
Previous experience in a shipping and receiving role, particularly involving audio visual equipment, is highly desirable.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to lift and maneuver heavy equipment safely.
