Salary - $70,000 - $80,000 / yr

Seeking an engaging dynamic hands-on culinary leader to provide direction of the daily food operation of the restaurants, bar, coffee shop and hotel kitchen which includes a banquet event facility of 100,000sf with its own kitchen. Responsible for the overall customer culinary experience ensuring high quality offerings, products, consistency, creative menu development, pricing and staff delivery of the standards.

We are a franchise property with 374 rooms, 100,000 sf of event space located in downtown Augusta Georgia on the Riverwalk. We have an Italian 3-meal Restaurant, Coffee Shop, Concierge Lounge, Room Service and banquet facility that can do plated dinners for up to 1500 at a time.

The Culinary Team consists of the Executive Chef, Banquet Chef, Sous Chef/Supervisor, Executive Steward and supporting hourly team members.

We seek the following attributes of our leader:

-Culinary Degree /Education

-Honesty, integrity, respect

-Minimum of 5 years of progressive culinary leadership experience

-Experience leading a similar size team or program

-Hotel, restaurant and banquet culinary experience a plus

-Advanced knowledge of food professional principles and practices

-Proficient knowledge of human resources management

-Excellent knowledge of BOH systems, ordering and inventory

-Excellent communication skills

-Ability to meet deadlines

-Available to work on-call, shifts, after hours, over weekends, and on public holidays
