We do background and drug screening as part of our hiring process.

Summary of Position

This is a highly personal and interactive position with a lot of phone, internet and walk in prospecting. The position sells, negotiates and develops long-term contracts with a focus on repeat business, and will develop successful advertising campaigns for our clients.

Key Competencies

Strong natural appetite and ability to build a substantial pipeline of advertising prospects through cold calling, networking and other tactics.

Skill in conducting interpersonal meetings that develop and maintain strong business relationships with advertising decision makers. Requires excellent customer service skills, careful listening, and high responsiveness.

Strong ability to close, securing profitable advertising contracts that meet the needs of the client.

Ability to develop effective billboard messaging.

Hard-wired to plan and use time efficiently, stay on task and simultaneously advance negotiations with multiple prospects.

Powerful internal motivation to “win,” defined as helping advertisers achieve their goals and Azalea Outdoor to grow revenue & profitability.

Essential Functions

Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team verbally, face to face and by telephone.

Strong written communication skills including emails and written documents.

Safe driving record and reliable transportation to daily prospect and be at customer businesses.

Car insurance coverage at all times.

A smartphone to utilize for work purposes.

Ability to visually check work, work sites and customer art/design work.

Minimum lifting of 30 pounds.

Other Requirements

Knowledge of English and local language

Ability to deal with the clients in a professional and courteous manner

Ability to communicate with all managers, supervisors and fellow associates

Ability to handle conflict situations in a professional manner

Be well groomed and conform to the company’s dress code

Experience in media sales. Minimum 1 year.

High School diploma. College preferred. (Will accept 4 additional years of experience in lieu of)
