Job Description: As a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) with our school district, you will play a crucial role in providing speech and language therapy services to students, helping them overcome communication challenges and reach their full potential. This position is for the 2023-24 school year, and we offer competitive compensation of $53 per hour.
Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities.
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
Provide therapy services to students with a variety of speech and language disorders.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' progress.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and treatment plans.
Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Plan) meetings as needed.
Stay current with best practices and the latest research in speech pathology.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
Colorado state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
Experience working in a school setting is a plus, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
