We are looking for a full-time, experienced, friendly, organized, team-oriented Dental Assistant who is a natural at connecting with our team and patients. We are a very close team, we have an office softball team in the Summer, take hikes in the fall, amazing Christmas party, and much more. This is a high-technology, paperless practice so you must have excellent technology skills. This is not an entry-level or on-the-job training position. Candidates must have experience as an Assistant or have recently graduated from an in-person, Dental Assisting program. Responsibilities: • Tell patients what oral hygiene steps they need to take in order to prevent infection after dental procedures • Work with dentists and dental hygienists during examinations and procedures by assisting with dental instruments and assure the patients’ mouths are comfortable, dry, and accessible to the dentist • Give patients advice on a good oral health care regime so they can maintain a healthy smile • Ensure the patient area is ready for exams and procedures by prepping equipment like x-ray machines, anesthetics, and impression materials and cleaning and laying out dental instruments Qualifications: • Ability to provide superb patient care and customer service • Superb multitasking, interpersonal, and communication skills • Must have experience as a Dental Assistant Compensation: $22 - $31 hourly DOE
