    *Must have a Texas Mental Health License and be a current resident of Texas We are actively seeking a compassionate mental health therapist for our clinic who is committed to therapeutic excellence for our patients. You will be responsible for doing diagnostic assessments, making customized treatment plans with goals and objectives, providing crisis intervention as needed, and following up with patients to ensure they are receiving appropriate ongoing care. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of clinical experience working with mental health patients as well as a current LMHC (licensed mental health counselor) license. Responsibilities: • Determine the status of patients mental health by using medical information, interviews, observation, and testing, as well as collaboration with other staff members • Provide crisis intervention as needed • Work with patients to develop individualized treatment plans with goals and objectives • Offer community resources or specialists to patients and family members who are experiencing difficulties • Monitor each patient situation on a frequent basis and offer the appropriate follow-up care • Provide high-quality therapy to individuals on a mostly weekly basis. • Reassess patient situations and provide appropriate follow-up care based on their current needs. • Maintain proper notes and documentation. • Guides clients in the development of skills and strategies to deal with their problems. Encourages clients to express their feelings and discuss what is happening in their lives and helps them develop insight into themselves and their relationships. • Create a safe space for clients to come to where they feel seen and heard. • Evaluate the client's mental condition based on the review of client information. Develop and implement treatment plans based on clinical experience and knowledge. • Build a trusting relationship and rapport with clients. • Offer resources and referrals when needed and necessary. Qualifications: • High school diploma or GED and a bachelor’s degree in counseling, social work, or equivalent; masters degree preferred • CPR and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications are required • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Licensure in the state you reside as a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) or the equivalent is required • 1-3 years in a clinical setting working with mental health patients is required • Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and great communication and interpersonal skills • 1-3 years in a clinical setting working with mental health patients is required • Training and/or experience in treating anxiety and trauma-related disorders • EMDR training preferred • Must be a licensed LPC, LCSW, or Psychologist • Must be licensed in TX • Must be comfortable working remotely • Must be proficient in virtual technology Ex: Gmail, zoom, electronic EHR, etc Compensation: $56,000 - $81,000 yearly
