Job Type: Full-time Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: • Health insurance • Paid training Experience level: • 1 year • 2 years • 3 years Schedule: • 8-hour shift • Monday to Friday License/Certification: • Texas Drivers License Ability to Commute: • Austin, TX 78744 (Required) Work Location: In person Responsibilities: • Maintain accurate customer records for vehicles’ repairs, parts, maintenance histories, and more • Source and remediate mechanical problems and malfunction codes that are identified in the vehicle's mechanical systems, electrical system, and electronic systems • Perform system inspections, test drives, and diagnostic tests to determine necessary repair work • Generating repair estimates, timelines, and process documents for automotive work Qualifications: • Strong work ethic and excellent communication skills are necessary • Required state-issued driver’s license • Strong manual dexterity and proficiency with hand tools and other repair shop equipment is necessary • Preferred education is an associate’s degree from a technical school or relevant automotive program and/or ASE certification Compensation: $55,500 yearly
