    Job Description

    The TALENT ACQUISITION SPECIALIST is responsible for meet hiring goals by filling open positions with talented and qualified candidates according to customer contractual requirements. This position will source and screen candidates for all business portfolios associated with Austin Task, Inc.; coordinates the interview process, and facilitate offers and employment negotiations within employment laws and legislation while ensuring candidates have a pleasant experience. THIS IS AN ON-SITE POSITION.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    ü Identifies current and future hiring needs according to contractual and production goals and obligations

    ü Collaborates with department managers to compile a consistent list of requirements

    ü Administers job postings across different job platforms

    ü Attracts suitable candidates through databases, online employment forums, social media, job fairs and networking events, etc.

    ü Pre-qualifies applicants; conducts and coordinates interviews, and assesses applicants’ knowledge, skills and experience to best suit open positions

    ü Coordinates interviews on site with interviewers and potential candidates

    ü Reviews applications and sustains an active pool of potential applicants

    ü Completes and reviews new hire paperwork

    ü Follows up with new hires to assist with turnover reduction

    ü Provides customer service support to potential candidates and new hires throughout their interviewing and onboarding process

    ü Promotes the company’s reputation and attractiveness as a good employment opportunity

    ü Remains familiar with open position tasks and responsibilities

    ü Remains current on employment legislation and regulations

    ü Works closely with the Human Resource Department to ensure enforcement of recruiting and hiring practice regulations

    ü Oversees and implements intern and other special recruiting initiatives that support contractual obligations

    ü Develops positive and productive relationships with various agencies supportive of the Company initiatives such as community groups that support employment of those with disabilities; veterans, minorities, etc.

    ü Ensures employment goals are met and maintained

    ü Creates, maintains and communicates accurate open positions

    ü Communicates and coordinates accommodation efforts with the Human Resource Department

    ü Adheres to the established security and operational procedures; maintains and oversees contract specifications

    ü Maintains and strives to exceed service quantity standards

    ü Assists with interpreting and communicating personnel policies and procedures during the new hire process

    ü Provides accurate information, answers and maintains quality interactions with appropriate personnel

    ü Responsible for accurately monitoring, maintaining and overseeing reports, documentation, recordkeeping, correspondence, communications, etc.; follows established procedures when creating proposals and documents

    ü Appropriately coordinates background screening programs as required

    ü Attends Job Fairs and networking events as approved

    ü Participates in staff and other meetings as appropriate

    ü Identifies and takes initiative to improve processes and communication within all team members

    ü Supports administrative functions and duties in office for all team members

    ü Continues development of personal and professional skills and establishes and participates in industry and other professional networks to ensure awareness of regulatory and other trends that may affect the business or direction of the company’s initiatives, policies and programs

    ü Works closely with the senior management team, and other key personnel and contacts for seamless integration of responsibilities and functions

    ü Consistently meets and/or exceeds productivity goals; meets competing deadlines; adheres to outside contractual requirements

    ü May act as a liaison for company communication; follows through on all actions to ensure 100% deadline compliance

    ü All other duties as assigned for the successful execution and/or completion of various projects whether or not specifically assigned

    REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

    · 5+ years’ successful demonstrated/documented and progressive internal/external recruiting experience

    · Previous demonstrated experience working with individuals with special needs

    · Experience with recruitment processes and databases

    · Working (and verifiable) knowledge of employment laws related to recruiting

    · Ability to delegate responsibilities and provide excellent leadership and training to key personnel

    · Strong time management, organization and communication skills; detail-oriented

    · Solid judgment, foresight, problem-solving, analytical and business acumen skills; strong attention to details

    · Able to multitask effectively

    · Self-motivated with the ability to work as a team member on a broad variety of projects

    · Ability to work extended hours and various work schedules as needed including overtime and weekends

    · Ability to speak, write, and follow instructions and read the English language

    · Ability to demonstrate moral character, honesty, tact, fairness, patience, lack of prejudice and desire to help when dealing with people of varying social, cultural and economic backgrounds; creates and promotes a harmonious work environment

    · Ability to perform in a professional appearance and manner

    · Able to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with people

    · Excellent attendance required

    · Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word and (advanced knowledge of) Excel

    Salary: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
