PROFESSIONAL COLLABORATION:
- Meet frequently with all members of an interdisciplinary care team on an ongoing basis, including SLP, OTR, CRT, DPT, BTs, RBTs, BCBAs, LP and LPA. HR frequently communicates and offers company trainings to each department.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
At Autism 360, the function of HR Assistant is to provide management in the areas of labor relations, recruiting and trainings. The qualified candidate must possess great oral and written communication skill and phone etiquette. Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a professional demeanor. This position is ideal for a creative thinker who likes to take the initiative, perform, and/or assist with parts of various problem-solving duties and the ability to work as part of a professional team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & JOB RESPONSIBILTIES:
- Promote and thrive in an inclusive Autism 360 company model.
- Support HR Department through candidate coordination: screening applications/resumes for qualifications, contacting and conducting pre-screening interviews with qualified applicants, scheduling in-person interviews, conducting reference checks, and assist with new hire onboarding and orientation process to fill vacant positions and trainings as needed
- Posting and updating employment ads on approved websites
- Recruit talent for all levels of the organization, using urgency to fill rolls
- High level of confidentiality and knowledge of HIPPA guidelines and regulations
- Leadership abilities with strong mentoring skills
- Attention to details and strong organizational skills
- Meet all deadlines effectively
- Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral skills
- Must always have a professional appearance and demeanor
- Must always have professional and ethical conduct
- Proficient with conflict resolution skills
- Able to handle and to work effectively during difficult and stressful situations with a high degree of professionalism
- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Provide clerical and administrative support to Human Resources executives
- Ability to maintain effective relationships with other management staff, employees, and the public
- Remain current with changes in technology, laws and regulations in your related area
- Perform customer services related tasks such as answering the phone, directing calls, and taking messages
- Complete CPR/First Aid and EBPI trainer certification courses and provide in-house trainings for new and current employees
- Complete office cleaning tasks as assigned
- Completes human resource operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees and following up on work results.
- Implements employee benefits programs and informs employees of benefits by studying and assessing benefit needs and trends; recommending benefit programs to management; directing the processing of benefit claims; obtaining and evaluating benefit contract bids; awarding benefit contracts; and designing and conducting educational programs on benefit programs.
- Complete Zoom Training with proficiency to ensure become a liaison for new staff and train others on the platform
- Perform other administrative duties as required
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; or three to five years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- A minimum of four years of recent HR experience
- Strong understanding of HR functions, policies and procedures
- Recruitment experience is a must
- Applicant must have a valid driver's license and no criminal record
- Proficiency in Microsoft, Excel, Power Point, Outlook required
