    Autism Behavioral Institute is looking to add a salaried Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in our Georgia Region. Our BCBA's provide training and supervision to a team of BCABAs and RBT's.  Communication with parents and caregivers is essential to supporting the children we serve and ensuring continuity of care.

    What you’ll do:

    • Provide direct behavioral services and assessments
    • Conduct behavioral assessments; design treatment programs for clients
    • Supervise a team of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts (BCABAs) to implement treatment plans
    • Provide primary caregiver training and support
    • Protect the well-being of all clients in treatment sessions and emergency crises
    • Other duties as assigned from time to time

    You need to have:

    • Master’s degree or national equivalent with a major in psychology, special education, Applied Behavior Analysis, or related field of studies
    • Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), verified through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board
    • Minimum two years’ experience working with children, adolescents, or adults with special needs
    • Completed the 8 hour BACB supervisor training

    You’re able to:

    • Quickly analyze crises and make sound judgments
    • Ethically respond to a variety of behavioral situations
    • Safely handle aggressive and self-injurious behaviors
    • Leverage theories and methods into appropriate behavioral strategies
    • Communicate effectively in both oral and written form with a diverse group of clients, caregivers, school personnel, and agency staff
    • Work independently to make decisions within the framework of established guidelines

    Upon hire, you will have to successfully complete the following trainings:

    • New staff orientation
    • Crisis Intervention Training; renew certification annually
    • First Aid/CPR/AED; renew certifications as needed
    • HIPAA/HITECH/FERPA Training

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
