  • Responsibilities

    We are seeking Behavior Technicians with experience serving children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). If you have a great attitude, we would like to speak with you!

    Job Responsibilities:
    • Provide 1:1 intervention service developed by a Behavior Analyst on ABA principles for children 18 months and older.
    • Teach individuals with special needs various skills needed in order for their optimal achievement.
    • Using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis, implement each client’s individualized treatment and intervention strategies by providing direct intervention and therapy services to children with autism and related disorders.
    • Work on skills like empathy, emotions, conversation, social skills, communication skills, pragmatic and self- help skills.
    • RBT's create a fun, motivating environment to generate optimal performance for every client, they do this in order to collect data on programming targets, and provide support to parents, teachers, and caregivers.
    • We provide continuous feedback, training and support.
    Education, Experience and Other Requirements:
    • Required: 40 HR RBT Course or Registered Behavior Technician Certification (RBT)
    • Preferred: High School Diploma, Bachelors or Masters Degree in the Human Service Field with a current RBT Certification
    • Experience working with children with special needs.
    • Clean criminal background check
    • Availability afternoons and evenings until 7:30pm weekly. Preference given to applicants available Saturdays 9:00-3:00pm
    • Able to lift 40 pounds.

    **All non registered BTs are required to obtain their RBT within 60 days of hire.

    The physical demands described here are representative and not all inclusive. The employee is regularly required to talk or hear and frequently required to stand; using hands and fingers; Lifting, pushing, pulling up to 25 lbs. may also be required.

    Working Environment:

    • Travel between client's homes will be required.
    • Must be available to work afternoons and evenings until 6:30 pm

    Pay Rate: up to $25 hourly.
