POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for building and driving enhancements to AA’s underwriting strategy with our Lending Partners by applying a quantitative, data-driven approach
• Evaluates lending partner programs to develop/design/implement sales processes that drive profitability of the consumer finance offerings – responsible for increasing KPIs (Approval %, Capture %, LTB%, Product Penetration)
• Partners heavily with lending partners and internal Sales teams to drive AA’s lending/origination process excellence
• Delivers custom and standard training leveraging expertise and consumer lending experience
• Creates recurring & ad hoc reports/analyses that will support critical decision making in the life cycle of a lead
• Leads the design/development/implementation of internal scorecard and decision trees
• Collaborates with leaders and business partners to inform and guide critical business decisions throughout the organization
• Designs and develops predictive models to be leveraged as part of our lender originations strategy – and support the implementation of these models
• Conducts exploratory analyses to identify key triggers of customer behavior that can be leveraged strategically
• Accesses and connects datasets across multiple sources to draw out actionable insights
• Meets with internal and external teams to operationalize strategies
• Will clearly communicate results and recommendations to internal stakeholders

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
• Four or more years of product management experience
• Four or more years of Consumer Loan Finance/Underwriting experience

PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• Five or more years of product management in consumer lending
• Automotive experience in F&I (working directly with lenders and sales staff)
• Ability to influence key stakeholders on prospective initiatives 
• Experience with Agile Teams
• Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
• Well-developed analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Considerable tact, diplomacy and people skills
• Well-developed leadership abilities and strategic management skills

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are variable and based on business need. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
