Job Description

SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE

The Loan Processor is responsible for creating clean loan packages and ensuring the loan funding process is completed in a timely manner.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Generates auto refinance loan documents in a timely manner
• Ensure that all documents are completed and signed correctly
• Verify all stipulations for loan packages
• Verify information such as loan payoff amount, collateral valuation, and interest rate
• Create and stack funding packets to be sent to lending partners
• Ensure Power of Attorney forms are received 
• Document the system of record per applicable policy/procedure
• Monitor accounts for ‘red flags’ or potential fraud
• Protect information in accordance with Auto Approve Information Security Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelors degree preferred but not required
• One (1) year experience in loan processing preferred
• One (1) year experience in the finance industry preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This position is indoors. Must be able to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time. May be asked to lift approximately 25 lbs. Exposure to moderate noise and light, i.e business office with computers, phone, printers, light foot traffic.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are variable and based on business need. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
