About the Role:

Old Style Body Shop Inc is looking for a skilled Auto Body Painter to join our team in Maryland Heights, MO! Responsibilities:

Prepare vehicle surfaces for painting, including sanding, masking, and priming

Mix and match paint colors to achieve precise OEM and custom color matches

Apply primer, base coat, and clear coat using professional spray equipment

Inspect painted surfaces for defects and perform wet sanding, buffing, and polishing as needed

Maintain and clean spray guns, booths, and other painting equipment

Collaborate with body technicians to ensure seamless repair and refinishing results

Follow all safety protocols and properly handle hazardous materials and chemicals

Requirements:

Proven experience as an auto body painter or automotive refinishing technician

Proficiency with spray guns, paint mixing systems, and paint booth equipment

Strong knowledge of paint prep, color matching, and blending techniques

Familiarity with waterborne and solvent-based paint systems

I-CAR or ASE certification in refinishing is a plus

Keen eye for detail and commitment to delivering high-quality finishes

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced shop environment
