We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter Helper to join an established body shop team, in Orange/Bridge City, TX are. The Painter Helper will assist the lead painter and technicians with preparation, refinishing, and finishing tasks to ensure high-quality paint jobs on vehicles. Training will be provided.

Pay $15--$20 per hour D.O.E.

Work Hours: Mon-Fri 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. w/1 hour lunch

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prep vehicles for painting by sanding, taping, and meticulously cleaning surfaces.
• Mix paints and materials according to specifications and under supervision.
• Maintain paint booth and work area cleanliness.
• Perform basic repair and finishing tasks such as buffing, polishing, and touch-ups.
• Ensure all parts are properly prepped, primed, and ready for final painting.
• Follow safety procedures and use protective equipment such as gloves and masks as required. * Assist with inventory control of paint and supplies.

No smoking around paint thinner or near spray booth.
No profanity or offensive print on clothing.

REQUIREMENTS:

*** Ability to follow directions and work in a team environment.**

*** Take pride in a job well done.**

*** Previous experience in an auto body shop or related field preferred, but not required.**

*** Be a Texas or Louisiana resident**
