· Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing damaged vehicles, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring that all safety standards are met.
· Repair and replace damaged body parts.
· Perform welding and metal fabrication.
· Perform body work on vehicles, including sanding, grinding, and painting.
· Follow safety protocols when working with hazardous materials.
· Mend damaged body by hammering out or filling in dents and welding broken parts; ensure all gaps and fits are to industry standards; remove damaged fenders, panels, and grills; and bolts or welds replacement parts in position and reassemble after parts are painted.
· Operate a variety of hand and power tools (e.g., welder, soldering equipment, cutting torch, blocks, hammers, wrenches, sander, spray guns, etc.)
· Inspect and test drive repaired vehicles to check for compliance with safety and quality standards; Wash and prepare vehicles for customer return.
· Comply with all Auto Collision Group, Inc. safety rules, guidelines, and standards.
Job Requirements
· Must be at least 18 years of age.
· Must have a valid driver’s license.
· Must have 1-3 years of auto collision experience.
· Ability to read and understand instructions, written estimates, and work orders.
