We’re looking for an Auto Body Technician who values craftsmanship, consistency, and being part of a well-run, team-focused shop.

Role Overview

This role is responsible for structural and non-structural body repairs , following OEM procedures and shop standards in a production-focused environment with strong repair planning and support.

What You’ll Do

• Perform structural and non-structural body repairs

• Disassemble and reassemble vehicles properly and safely

• Perform panel replacement, straightening, and metal repair

• Follow OEM repair procedures and documentation requirements

• Use proper repair methods, measuring systems, and equipment

• Communicate with production and estimators on repair needs

• Maintain clean, organized work areas

• Take pride in repair quality and final fit & finish

What We’re Looking For

• Prior experience as an auto body / collision repair technician

• Strong understanding of OEM repair procedures

• Ability to maintain quality under production volume

• Attention to detail and pride in workmanship

• Team-oriented mindset and professionalism

I-CAR training and OEM certifications valued

Structural repair experience a plus

Team Incentive Compensation

This role also participates in a shared, team-based incentive program tied to overall shop performance.

• Incentives are based on delivered shop revenue , not individual sales or written estimates

• The incentive pool activates once delivered revenue exceeds $225,000 per month

• Payouts increase as shop performance improves

• Incentives are shared among front-office and production-support team members

• Designed to reward teamwork, consistency, and execution , not shortcuts

Example Monthly Incentive Outcomes

• ~$275,000 delivered: $300–$500 per person

• ~$325,000 delivered: $600–$900 per person

Skill Tier 1 — Body Technician I

Developing / Entry-Level Tech

Scope

• Non-structural repairs

• Basic disassembly / reassembly

• Works under supervision

• Basic collision repair experience or trade school

• Willingness to learn OEM procedures

• Coachable, team-oriented mindset

Pay Structure

• Hourly guarantee only

• Limited flat-rate eligibility

• Focus is skill development, not speed

Advancement Trigger

• Consistent quality work

• Ability to complete jobs with minimal rework

Skill Tier 2 — Body Technician II

Independent Production Technician

Scope

• Non-structural and moderate repairs

• Full R&I and panel replacement

• Reads and follows repair plans independently

• Coordinates with estimators and parts

Requirements

• Proven collision repair experience

• Comfortable with OEM procedures

• Minimal supervision required

Pay Structure

• Hourly guarantee for first 40 hours

• Flat-rate flag hours paid above 40

• Standard flat-rate multiplier

Skill Tier 3 — Body Technician III

Senior / Structural Technician

Scope

• Structural and complex repairs

• Measuring system experience

• I-CAR training strongly preferred

• Hourly guarantee for first 40 hours

Skill Tier 4 — Lead Body Technician

• Trusted by management and peers

Pay Structure

• Hourly guarantee for first 40 hours

Quality & Chargeback Standards

• Flat-rate hours are paid only on repairs completed to shop and OEM standards

• Rework due to workmanship may result in:
