Job Summary This is a hybrid leadership role responsible for both driving sales and managing daily dealership operations. The GSM owns the full customer journey from lead to close while ensuring vehicles move efficiently through intake, repair, and sale.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all used car sales and leasing from lead to close
Generate and respond to leads; maintain a strong sales pipeline
Structure deals, handle financing, and complete paperwork
Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth workflow between sales and service
Track vehicle status, prioritize work, and eliminate bottlenecks
Manage inventory listings, pricing, and turnover
Ensure accurate documentation, compliance, and process consistency
Deliver excellent customer experience and resolve escalations
Set sales goals and track KPIs (sales, gross profit, conversion rates)
Use Dealer Center (CRM) to manage leads, deals, and pipeline
Communicate consistently with the team through Slack and internal systems
Qualifications
2+ years in automotive or commission-based sales
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Comfortable using CRM systems and digital communication tools
Self-motivated with an ownership mindset
