We're looking for somebody who genuinely likes people and knows how to move them. This isn't a sit-behind-a-desk job. It's a role for somebody who walks onto the lot ready to talk, ready to listen, and ready to turn a "just looking" into keys in hand.
If you're the kind of person who lights up a room, makes friends in line at the grocery store, and gets bored fast when things slow down — keep reading.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll be the first face a customer sees and the voice they hear on the phone. You'll greet folks, figure out what they actually need (not just what they think they need), and walk them through finding the right vehicle. You'll log every conversation in our CRM, work your follow-ups every day — calls, texts, emails — and keep the pipeline full. You'll close deals, hand off when it makes sense, and own your numbers. You'll also help us keep the lot looking sharp and the inventory locked down.
When things get loud and the floor is busy, you're the one who thrives in it.
Who You Are
You're outgoing without trying. You read people quickly and adjust on the fly. You'd rather be on your feet talking to a customer than buried in a spreadsheet, and you're at your best when there's a little pressure and a lot going on. You don't get rattled when plans shift mid-day — you roll with it.
You're competitive. You like winning, you like getting recognized for it, and you push yourself harder than anybody else could push you. You take coaching well because you actually want to get better. Rejection rolls off you. You believe the next customer is the one.
You bring energy to the team. People feel it when you walk in.
What It Takes
Comfortable meeting strangers and starting conversations from nothing
A persuasive, upbeat communication style — selling without being slick
Willingness to work long hours, weekends, and the occasional crazy day
Ability to juggle multiple customers, follow-ups, and priorities at once
Outdoor-friendly — the lot is the lot, rain or shine
Sales experience helps, but a great attitude and the right wiring matter more
Why 5 Star
We're family-owned, two rooftops strong, and we move a lot of cars. The people who do well here are the ones who treat it like their own business — they prospect hard, follow up harder, and don't wait around for traffic to come to them. We back that up with real support, real leadership, and real earning potential. The harder you work, the bigger the check.
Bottom Line
If you love being around people, love a good challenge, and want a job where what you put in is what you get out — come talk to us.
