JOB ROLE: AutoRABIT is looking for a Salesforce Technical Architect with deep experience on Salesforce platform, DevOps pipeline strategies, sandbox utilization and strong experience on release tools including AutoRABIT, Metadata API, Changesets, and Apache Ant Script. These DevOps pipeline strategies include branching strategy, integrating sandboxes, automated testing, data loading, as well as ensuring syncing of sandboxes and branches. In addition to technical expertise the candidate is expected to have strong communication, writing skills, a proactive nature, along with proven experience implementing CI/CD for large Enterprise clients.

Responsibilities:

• Research, drive, and present Health Checks for new and existing clients utilizing AutoRABIT to increase the clients DevOps maturity level.
• Review and build DevOps solution design diagrams for new and existing clients to optimize release speed and automated quality control.
• Independently self-educate on new features introduced in Salesforce’s triannual release along with new feature request within AutoRABIT itself. This education will be applied in communications to the client.
• Review and understand any changes updates to the Salesforce Metadata API version.
• Guide DevOps Consultants and Junior Architects in best practices through lunch and learn sessions and attending of training and implementation sessions.
• Provide thought leadership in setting up DevOps pipeline for new and active customers.
• Participate in UAT and logging of bugs for new features implemented within AutoRABIT.
• Adhere to set internal controls.

Prerequisites:

• 7-8 Years of total SFDC Development and Architecture experience
• An understanding of Agile Methodology versus Waterfall Methodology and the concepts of release planning including user story creation, sprint planning, release planning, and ALM integration.
• 4 + yrs. experience with transformational DevOps programs
• Strong understanding of SFDX and the concepts of scratch org, Dev Hub, and Salesforce CLI
• Working experience with Integrating JIRA, SonarQube, Jenkins, Gitlab, Selenium, Gitlab

Desired Education/Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• Trailblazer Rank of Mountaineer or Expeditioner
• 4 + yrs. experience as an architect with large, enterprise CI/CD pipelines on Salesforce platform
• Salesforce Certified Development Life cycle and Deployment Designer (Nice to have
• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I (Required)
• Salesforce Certified Administrator (Required)
• Mastery of advanced Git (including conflict resolution, cherry-picking, rebasing) along with CLI commands for Git (Required)
• Quick learner, Excellent Communication and Presentation skills, SaaS and PaaS architecture experience, motivated self-starter, experience working with C-Level Executives
