    About Autograph Foliages

    Autograph Foliages is a family owned and operated manufacturer and wholesaler of artificial plants, trees, Christmas trees, and holiday décor items. The company was founded in 1971 in Texas but was purchased by the current owner in 1979 and moved the headquarters to Cleveland. Since then, they have been an industry leader in the fabrication of artificial trees and foliage.

    Responsibilities :

    Under general supervision, the Accounting/HR Assistant is responsible for assisting with the daily accounting and human resources needs of the organization. These include, but are not limited to, bank reconciliations, assisting with payroll processing, and assisting with benefits administration. This position reports directly to the Accounting/HR Manager. With the accounting department, the Accounting/HR Assistant strives to provide exemplary customer services to internal as well as external customers, while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.

    Requirements :

    • Bachelor's Degree with 3 years Accounting experience or an equivalent combination of experience and training
    • 2 years of Human Resource/ Payroll processing
    • Experience with Sage 100 ERP System or Equivalent
    • Technology and accounting system savvy
    • Intermediate experience with Excel spreadsheets
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Strong problem-solving skills
    • Basic understanding of GAAP and IRS regulations

    Position is responsible for includes, not limited to:

    • Assist with biweekly payroll and accompanying taxes
    • Assist with cash flow forecasting
    • Assist with yearly budgeting
    • Assist with month end reconciliations
    • Assist with the year end close
    • Ad hoc reporting as requested/required
    • Create new employee files
    • Assist with new employee onboarding
    • Perform periodic audits of HR files and retirement plan files
    • Assist with annual benefits packages for employees
    • Assist with 401k and Cash Balance retirement plan administration

    The company utilizes Sage 100 accounting system, so those with Sage experience will be preferred, but not necessary.

    Starting Salary: negotiable.
    Not including: yearly Bonus pay and additional benefits.
