Job Summary:
Develops and implements programs and services to support the career success of undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in the Greenberg School of Risk Management degree and certificate programs in risk management and actuarial science disciplines within The Peter J. Tobin College of Business. Reporting to and working with the Center’s Director, the incumbent will expand recruiting partnerships in insurance and related industries to increase apprenticeship/internship and full-time employment opportunities for GSRM students and will deliver counseling and advising support to GSRM students. While this role does not have specific supervisory responsibility, the role works closely with the ETCACS Office Assistant to address communications to students and with the GSRM Development Coordinator to strengthen alumni resources and increase alumni involvement with both the GSRM and the ETCACS.

Successful candidates must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, evidence of strong interpersonal skills, relationship building, and capable use of Microsoft Office suite, social media platforms and database programs. Evidence of experience advising and counseling students or coaching staff/employees is requisite.
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position does not have direct supervisory responsibility but will work with ETCACS Office Assistant to delegate and execute identified tasks.
Work Environment:
This position operates in a professional office environment as well as conducts meetings, seminars, lessons and presentations to industry, both in campus classrooms and facilities and at external corporate venues. This position is required to use standard office equipment such as personal computers, printers, etc. This position utilizes telephone and web-based meeting platforms regularly to engage with students and employers.

This role is typically conducted in classroom or office environments of the University and occasionally at external corporate or presentation (hotel/meeting room) environments.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This position is full-time with expected hours typically to be conducted Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. This position occasionally requires evening or weekend work to address special event or presentation coverage.
Travel:
Travel is primarily local and includes regular visits (and office hours on) the other NY campuses, employer locations in the Tri-State area, with some out-of-area and overnight travel occasionally required.

In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual salary range for this position is $69,400 - $81,200 .
