Responsibilities:
- Dismantle machines and equipment to gain access to problem areas
- Re-aligns and adjusts components such as spindles and clutches
- Locates damaged air and hydraulic pipes on machine and measures, cuts, threads, and installs new pipe
- Installs power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment such as robots, conveyors and programmable controllers
- Diagnoses malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures and replaces damaged or broken wires and cables
- Tests malfunctioning machinery and discusses malfunction with other personnel from other affected departments including production, maintenance, and tool room to diagnose malfunction
- Diagnoses and replaces faulty mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic components of machines and equipment
- Industrial electrician skilled in controls, troubleshooting abilities down to circut board level
- PLC programming and troubleshooting
- Robot and production welding experience preferred
