Primary Responsibilities:

• Provides direct leadership and supervises hourly skilled trades associates
• Responsible for performance feedback of all direct reports including mentoring, coaching, counseling and corrective action when situations dictate
• Responsible for maintenance department safety, quality, production, and delivery objectives in his/her area of responsibility
• Responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment to support production jobs
• Responsible for managing the preventive maintenance schedules
• Coordinate and assess required training and team building
• Complete individual performance reviews for probationary associates
• Communicate and prioritize daily work assignments to the team
• Communicate key information through the daily “shift to shift” communication plan
• Adherence to all company policies and procedures (ex. PPE, EHS, Quality Policy Manual, Colleague Handbook, Level II procedures, etc.)
• Ability to interview and help select skilled trade candidates for hire
• Ability to prioritize downtime repairs, pm’s and project work

• Bachelors Degree in Applied Science in Manufacturing, Engineering or Industrial Technology preferred
• Minimum of five (5) years as a maintenance supervisor preferred
• Knowledge of manufacturing, welding, and/or robotic processes as required for the position
• Ability to prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to mentor and teach the team in effective problem solving methods
• Experience in applying lean manufacturing concepts
• Proven leadership ability
• Ability to work well with others in a team environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software
• Ability to read and write in English and perform mathematical calculations
