    AUTOKINITON, formerly L&W Engineering a successful Tier One Automotive Supplier, is currently seeking an experienced Human Resource Manager for our Grand Ledge, MI, plant. This is a great opportunity to be the face of the Human Resource team at these locations.      Candidate will be responsible for planning and administering policies relating to all phases of human resource activity by performing the following duties personally or through other Human Resource associates:

     

    · Recruits and screens candidates for employment; conducts reference checks, processes offer letters, and oversees onboarding/new hire orientation process.

    · Oversee the maintenance of associate personnel, health, and safety records in compliance with all state and federal laws, and the company's policies.

    · Administers hourly and salary compensation program to ensure compliance and equity within the organization.

    · Contracts with outside services to provide temporary employment services.

    · Administers performance evaluation program to ensure effectiveness, compliance and equity within the organization.

    · Oversees the administration of all benefit programs. Administers company benefits programs including health, life, dental, 401K, and managed disability (short and long term); counsels associates regarding company sponsored health and welfare plans.

    · Coordinates all associate relations and communications programs.

    · Investigate and counsel management regarding associate relation issues.

    · Develops and implements human resources policies and procedures to meet organizational needs and comply with state and federal laws.

    · Coordinate and conducts management training in legal HR issues (i.e. interviewing, disciplines, sexual harassment, discrimination, etc.)

    · Coordinates associate functions (holiday functions, luncheons, picnic, family day, perfect attendance incentives, etc.)

     

    REQUIREMENTS:

    · Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business or equivalent experience.

    · Minimum of five (5) years of experience in human resources.

    · In-depth knowledge of general human resources policies and procedures.

    · Excellent communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills.
