Position Summary:

The Production Supervisor coordinates all departmental functions to ensure production requirements are met with safety, quality, and efficiency. Coordinates activities with materials, purchasing, maintenance, tooling, engineering, and quality control activities to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources, machines and equipment.

Responsibilities :

• Monitors production plans and provides corrective action as necessary
• Resolves problems logically and effectively
• Eliminates waste through safety, quality, and production improvements
• Maintains work center schedule by staying within production and shipping scheduling.

Qualifications :

• Knowledge of welding processes
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proven manufacturing administration skills
• Ability to adapt to and use computers
