    • Support the Company’s mission, vision, values, and goals in performance of daily activities.
    • Meet with team leaders on all three shifts daily, preferably during shift change over meetings, to gather previous shifts feedback and downtime.
    • Delegate duties evenly to the team leaders to ensure work orders and projects are completed on time.
    • Provide direction and leadership consistent with plant business plan goals
    • Ensure team leaders are up to date on current plant plans and requirements to meet budget goals and keep production running efficiently.
    • Communicate the overtime schedule to the work team.
    • Communicate and prioritize daily work assignments to the team.
    • Provide leadership and promote positive morale and ensure a total team concept.
    • Coordinate and assess required training and team building.
    • Provide colleagues with the necessary training to be successful in their roles.
    • Keep Maintenance Manager or Operations Manager if Maintenance Manager is not available up to date with daily update to previous 24 hours.
    • Responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment to support production jobs.
    • Responsible for managing the preventive maintenance schedules.
    • Responsible for maintaining maximum levels of press utilization and efficiency.
    • Drive shift manning levels and utilization to assure compliance to budget.
    • Provide the proactive leadership necessary to achieve and maintain a continuous improvement mind set for the team.
    • Provide key input into the development of departmental strategic goals along with identifying key measurable to support the departmental goals.
    • Track, monitor and implement required improvement activities related to business plan goals and issues.
    • Assist with plant activities to achieve quality, productivity, and cost reduction goals.
    • Enter work orders into the MLS system.
    • Input individual colleague hours into the ADP system.
    • Participate in root cause analysis and team problem solving activities (ex. 8D reports, department meetings, etc.).

    This full-time role is a part of our Maintenance team and reports to the Maintenance Manager. This is a second shift opportunity (Monday - Friday 2:30pm - 10:40pm).

    Required experience:

    • Work Requirements of 45 hours per week, minimum.
    • Work Saturdays as needed to supervise big projects or breakdowns.
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Science in Manufacturing, Engineering or Industrial Technology preferred.
    • Minimum of six (6) years as a maintenance supervisor preferred, and one (1) year of management experience required.
    • Knowledge of manufacturing, stamping, and/or assembly processes as required for the position.
    • Strong knowledge of TS 16949 and ISO 14001 regulations.
    • Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills.
    • Ability to prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to mentor and teach the team in effective problem-solving methods.
    • Experience in applying lean manufacturing concepts.
    • Proven leadership ability.
    • Experience as a training facilitator preferred.
    • Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
    • Ability to read and write in English and perform mathematical calculations.
