    Shipping and Receiving Supervisor

    To help us drive excellence, you’ll get to:

    · Provide direct leadership and supervise hourly shipping and/or receiving colleagues.

    · Identify, select, train and coach materials talent.

    · Coordinate the movement of all materials to and from the warehouse assuring all incoming product is received from vendors and reported into QAD with correct bar code labels.

    · Drive and participate in team problem solving activities and process improvement activities (ex. 8 D Reporting, Kaizen, etc.).

    · Assure all outgoing finished products are shipped on time to avoid premium freight costs and shipped with appropriate bar code tags.

    This full-time, salary, role is a part of our Shipping and Receiving Team and reports to the Materials Manager.

    Required experience:

    · Bachelors Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

    · Minimum of six (6) years experience in shipping/receiving and/or warehouse management, and one (1) year of supervisory experience.

    · Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills.

    • Strong computer skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
    • Familiar with Just-In-Time concept.
    • Understand inventory control procedures.
