Job description:
Immediate opening for an Experienced Gate Service Technician. The applicant for this position should be experienced in working with automatic gate and access systems.
This is a full time job working outside, all day, every day.
Job hours will be Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm.
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Automatic Gate/ Access Control Technician
Installation, service and maintenance of automatic gate and access control systems
Provide expert advice to customers regarding repairs and sales of new equipment.
Play a role in creating an excellent customer service experience & building relationships with customers.
Responsibilities and Duties
Perform Installation, service, and repair of new and existing automatic gate and access control systems
Perform routine preventative maintenance and repair procedures on gates and access systems
Perform general cleaning and minor maintenance, as necessary.
Perform or assist with any operations as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules.
Prepare written reports and maintain records of repairs and maintenance procedures
Provide excellent customer service while adhering to company service protocols and standards
Conduct business with the highest standards of personal, professional, and ethical conduct.
Additional Requirements
Consistent and regular attendance required.
Must be able to work flexible hours and Required to be part of the on-call rotation program
Must have your own reliable mode of transportation to work

Qualifications and Skills
Must have experience working with automatic gates and access control systems
Must have general experience in High and Low voltage electrical wiring
Must be able to read technical manuals, drawings, and electrical schematics
Must possess the knowledge and training to deal with routine and complex technical issues.
Requires light troubleshooting abilities for a variety of different types of machinery and equipment
Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
Ability to follow oral and written directions
Ability to read, write and speak fluently in English
Must have a NV driver’s license with clean driving record
Must have a clean and professional appearance
Must be hard worker, willing to learn, physically fit, and DRUG FREE
Ability to work in poor weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, or snow.
Must be able to stand; walk; stoop; reach; climb; bend; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms
Must be able to lift and/or move items over 50 pounds.
Schedule:
Mon – Fri 8:00am to 4:30pm
Occasional overtime may be required.
Hours over and above normal hours will occur, including evenings, holidays, and some weekends.
The schedule is subject to change based on business needs.
