Job description:
The Regional Sales Representative will promote and sell commercial/domestic laundry equipment to apartment communities, hotels, and facilities throughout the Greater Charlotte region. This position focuses on building and maintaining strong relationships with current accounts, as well as expanding and retaining existing accounts and identifying customer needs.
Key role responsibilities and behaviors include:
Prospecting new clients and lead generation, negotiate proposals and contracts, maintain customer relationships and develop connections with key decision makers, meeting monthly sales targets, account management, provide product sales/demonstrations, attend local apartment association events, engagement in local committees, identify sponsorship opportunities for current and potential customers, and continuing education.
Qualifications: This role requires weekly travel within their region as well as surrounding areas for events, strong communication and interpersonal skills, effective time management skills, the ability to understand and address customer needs, maintaining accurate sales records and information, staying up on industry trends, and product knowledge.
