    Automation & Control Systems Commissioning Engineer
    Location: Project-Based / On-Site Opportunities Available

    Ready to play a critical role in bringing large-scale industrial facilities to life? Our client is seeking an experienced ACS Commissioning Engineer to support the start-up and commissioning of advanced automation and control systems in complex, high-impact environments. This is a hands-on role at the center of commissioning activities, offering exposure to cutting-edge control technologies and collaboration with top-tier engineering teams.

    What You’ll Do

    • Lead and support Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) for DCS, PLC, and SIS systems alongside vendors and commissioning teams
    • Validate control logic, interlocks, alarms, and network configurations to ensure system readiness
    • Execute loop checks and signal verification from field instrumentation through control system I/O
    • Support function testing of critical process equipment, utilities, and safety systems
    • Troubleshoot control system issues during startup, tuning, and commissioning
    • Maintain accurate commissioning documentation, punch lists, and as-built records
    • Interface closely with instrumentation technicians, vendors, and operations teams on-site

    What You Bring

    • 3–7+ years of hands-on commissioning experience in industrial, energy, or gas processing facilities
    • 4+ years' DeltaV experience
    • Strong working knowledge of DCS and PLC platforms (Rockwell, Siemens, Emerson)
    • Proficiency interpreting P&IDs, I/O lists, control narratives, loop diagrams, and wiring drawings
    • Solid understanding of field instrumentation, signal types, calibration, and control system safety
    • Experience with TCP/IP networking in industrial control environments

    Preferred Experience

    • OEM control system training (Rockwell, Siemens, Emerson, ABB, or similar)
    • Familiarity with SIS standards such as IEC 61511 or ISA 84
    • Must be willing to work a 2-week on, 2-week off, rotation to Alaska
