Our client, a leading supplier of industrial automation solutions, is looking for a driven and technically strong Automation Controls Product Manager to lead and grow a key product line focused on power supplies and circuit protection.

What You’ll Do
- Own and grow a product line from strategy through execution
- Build and execute a multi-year product roadmap
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape
- Identify and launch new products—from concept through commercialization
- Work cross-functionally with engineering, suppliers, and marketing teams
- Define product requirements, pricing, and positioning
- Support product lifecycle decisions, including improvements and end-of-life planning
- Provide high-level technical support and product expertise
What You Bring
- Background in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 7+ years of experience in industrial automation or controls
- Strong knowledge of power supplies and circuit protection components
- Experience with industrial automation technologies (PLCs, HMIs, drives, etc.)
- Ability to analyze markets, manage projects, and influence product strategy
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Bonus Experience
- Product management or application engineering background
- Familiarity with UL, CE, CSA, or other regulatory standards
- Experience with CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols
