Automation Personnel Services is growing, and we are seeking a self-motivated, results-oriented Payroll Coordinator at our corporate office in Birmingham, Alabama. As the Payroll Coordinator, you will provide exceptional services to internal and external customers regarding payroll and billing. Job duties will include: Audit timecards against payroll hours Maintain payroll operations and identify discrepancies for field offices Prepare reports by compiling summaries of earnings and deductions Generate payroll files for check printing and direct deposit Prepare payroll packages for distribution to field offices Issue invoices to customers and maintains records. Resolve billing discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information from internal and external customers Qualifications and Education Requirements HS Diploma or equivalent and 2+ years comparable experience Proficiency in Microsoft word and excel and be able to use other computer programs as needed Ability to complete tasks on time, and to communicate clearly Must demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, attention to details, and ability to prioritize daily tasks Understand and follow all EEOC, workers compensation, OSHA and other safety rules.
