As Navaide's Automation Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will lead and support intelligent automation initiatives across both client engagements and internal innovation efforts. In this key role, you'll design, implement, and scale solutions that reduce manual effort, streamline operations, and drive digital transformation. Using platforms like UiPath, Microsoft Power Platform, and Python, you'll shape Navaide's enterprise-wide automation strategy and mentor teams across programs and departments.
You'll be central to delivering automation that meets federal IT and cybersecurity standards, while also serving as a thought leader on the future of RPA, AI-driven process improvement, and low-code/no-code development.
- 5+ years of experience in automation architecture, RPA, or low-code/no-code development
- Hands-on expertise with UiPath, Power Automate, or similar automation platforms
- Strong understanding of business process assessment, solution design, and workflow optimization
- Demonstrated experience supporting or delivering solutions for government clients
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell
- Experience supporting automation adoption across multiple departments or clients
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and mentorship skills
- Serve as the lead SME for automation across federal and internal Navaide initiatives
- Architect and deliver solutions using UiPath, Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps), and scripting
- Lead automation opportunity assessments and develop automation roadmaps with stakeholders
- Ensure automation solutions comply with federal IT security and regulatory standards (e.g., NIST, FedRAMP)
- Create reusable frameworks, documentation, and best practices for automation delivery
- Deliver internal workshops and training to upskill staff on RPA and low-code tools
- Track emerging technologies in AI and automation and recommend future-state improvements
- Support proposal development and business development activities as an automation strategist
Must be eligible to receive a DoD security clearance
Occasional travel may be required (<25%)
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent experience or certifications may be considered in lieu of a degree.
