Rinvio is hiring a Automation Tech / PLC Tech for an industrial skilled-trades role in the Davenport, IA market. This is an hourly full-time W-2 role; exact client and site details are shared only with qualified candidates.

Pay: $45.00 - $62.00 / hr, based on experience and fit for the scope.

Type: Full-Time W-2.

Primary scope: PLC troubleshooting, automation support, instrumentation, drives, HMI support, and plant controls reliability.

What you will do:

• Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, sensors, instrumentation, control panels, and automated production equipment.
• Support downtime response, preventive maintenance, controls changes, documentation updates, and startup support.
• Work with electricians, mechanics, engineering, operations, and vendors to resolve automation issues quickly.

Background that fits:

• PLC, automation, industrial controls, or manufacturing maintenance experience
• Hands-on troubleshooting with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, HMI, VFD, instrumentation, or similar controls platforms
• Able to read schematics, work safely around production equipment, and communicate clearly with plant teams
