Job Title: Automation Test Engineer
Contract Duration : 12 Months
Location: Lansing, MI
Work Type : Hybrid, in office 2 days a week. No Remote-only option.

Description:

Join our team as an Automation Test Engineer and drive efficient and reliable software testing!

As an Automation Test Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our software products through effective test automation. Your expertise in automation testing tools, manual testing, and Java will be instrumental in delivering high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and design test planning and sprint planning documents.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts.
• Select and identify areas or test cases for automation.
• Design and implement test automation strategies.
• Organize and manage the defect management process.
• Handle changes and conduct regression testing.
• Review and approve automated test scripts.
• Build environment-specific test suites.
• Configure automated tools and integrate them with application life cycle management.
• Create testing data management plans.
• Publish results of automated test execution.
• Serve as an escalation point for staff working on automated test scripts.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience using Selenium, Provar, or other automation testing tools.
• 5+ years of experience with manual testing.
• Knowledge and experience with Java.
• Excellent communication skills.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with software development methodologies.
• Knowledge of quality assurance and testing best practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
