As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the overall technical management of the product handling projects. This company has been in business since 1950 and is a world leader in modernized processing equipment.

Job Responsibilities

• Create the project Conceptual Layout Drawing (CLD) in AutoCAD 2D format

• Work with the Application Engineer in developing a project schedule
• Participate in equipment/product testing
• Taking on-site field dimensions and/or design development
• Generate the project Equipment Layout Drawings (ELD) in AutoCAD 2D format
• Generate a Change Order Log
• Track the ELD approval from the customer
• Generate the Motor and Device (MAD) list
• Generate the Critical Controls Logic for the system (CCL)
• Coordinate PLC Program simulations with the control group
• Generate equipment Product Safety Drawings (PSD)

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred, or
• Associate of Applied Science degree in engineering-related field
• Able to travel 15-25%.
• Experience with AutoCAD 2D and SAP preferred.
• Prior role as a Project Engineer
• MUST WORK ONSITE IN FLOWER MOUND, TEXAS (near Dallas) Mondays through Fridays.
