    Join a global provider of mechanical engineering, plant construction, lifecycle service, and digital solutions for the complex requirements of the corrugated board industry! Founded over 300 years ago, their corrugated board machines proudly produce a third of the world’s corrugated board production.

    They are looking for an experienced candidate to be responsible for training operating and maintenance staff on corrugated equipment, commissioning new machinery, and solving basic problems on corrugators.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Train operating and maintenance staff on the proper operation, process, and functioning of the company’s equipment.
    • Develop a training plan and necessary training materials to meet customer needs. Training plans will range from formal classroom training to on-the-spot informal training to explain the corrugated process when questions arise
    • Work with staff until there is a complete understanding of the functioning of the equipment
    • Key person in the startup and improvement phases of our state-of-the-art corrugating equipment at customer sites
    • Perform other related duties as assigned

    Qualifications:

    • AS degree in engineering sciences or equivalent experience in corrugated industry
    • Previous experience in the corrugated industry in an operation, production, or supervisory function is a plus
    • Ability to interact with all levels of personnel.
    • Must have an outgoing, “coaching” personality with enthusiasm for public speaking and the ability to engage adult learners
    • Ability to self-teach and comprehend the functionality of new machines if required
    • Ability to travel extensively throughout North America and on occasion to Europe
    • Must have a valid driver’s license and a passport
    • Experience in Microsoft applications such as PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

    COVID Vaccination Requirement:

    COVID Vaccination is required before employment. Candidates who have not yet received the vaccine must receive their first shot prior to the first day of employment. If the vaccine shot is a two-part series, the second shot must be completed within 30 days of employment. Proof of vaccination is required.
